God Did NOT Forget You
Some years ago, during an especially difficult time in my life, I took a walk and noticed a small sign on the porch of one of the houses I passed. It said… GOD DID NOT FORGET YOU (Isaiah 49:15)
I broke down crying right there in the middle of the empty street. How could the God of the Universe care about me? No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t be good. I often lost my temper, seldom prayed, and had plenty of dust on my Bible. I had completely forgotten God despite calling myself a Christian. But God Did NOT Forget Me and He has not forgotten YOU!
I once read, “If you can’t be a good example, be a horrible warning.” As my life is becoming like the end of a toilet paper roll spinning rapidly toward the cardboard tube, I’d rather direct others to the “good example” side. I do this by writing little stories about common situations, sprinkled with nostalgia, some tears and humor, always pointing to Jesus.
Why do I write? Gratitude. God never forgot me… And He didn’t forget you either!
